Anvi completed a Bachelor of Science in the Honours Life Sciences program at McMaster University . She is currently studying in the Master's of Public Health Program in the Department of Health Research Methods at McMaster University. Anvi is supporting projects exploring the associations between episiotomy, care provider, and severe injuries to the perineum, known as obstetric anal sphincter injuries.
